Marc Edmund BRADLEY

March 6, 1951March 15, 2020

Marc Edmund Bradley passed away peacefully on Sunday March 15th, 2020, at the age of 69. We can only hope he had a cold Natural Lite in his hands, and that his last beer was as good as the first. He was great at many things. We will always remember him for dominating Jeopardy, driving slower than Ms Daisy’s chauffeur, having one single pair of sunglasses for over 50 years, and not only keeping plants alive, but actually knowing their genius and species. It was the same with birds, snakes, and all sorts of other fauna. Some might say he was the handicapped Steve Erwin! However, The thing he was best at was giving advice, which some of his children were better at following than others (here’s to you Nancy), but if you asked his advice he did not tell you what to do, but rather made you realize the right thing to do. He was a man of few words, but those he spoke were always ones of wisdom, wit, and humor; all of which he had in spades. Thanks Marc for installing the habit of always telling your children the best way not to lose anything is to put everything in the same place every time, raising your children to love the Tide, and showing that no matter what hand you are dealt in life you can succeed.

Marc was born on March 6, 1951, to Edmund Odell Bradley and Ida Lee Woods. He is survived by his "self-proclaimed perfect" former Wife Beverley Stanard Bradley, and children Wade Bishop Bradley, Edmund Stanard Bradley, Nancy Lee Bradley, and sister Fran Bradley Willis.

His remains will be interred in Millry, Alabama, next to his parents after arrangements have been finalized.

I was so sorry to hear of Marc’s passing. He was an upstanding, honorable man. My brother, Richard spoke so fondly of him as his fraternity President and friend. I knew him as my daughter, Marilyn’s, good friends father. Nancy, you are a doll. God speed.

Fond memories from practicing law with Marc in Chatom. Fond memories from Marc coming to Millry High to visit his Aunt Samuella and uncle John S.
My parents were good friends with both of Marc’s parents who were great people. The Woods and Bradley’s run that way.
Remember Fran riding home with the Brown’s from U of A.
