

Marcel Hill, better known as Peanut to his friends and family passed from this life into Heaven on December 10, 2020. Peanut was born on September 26, 1942 in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. He was a long-time resident of Irvington, Alabama, where he and his wife, Linda raised their children.
Peanut was such a character, so full of life, and good-hearted. He genuinely cared about all people and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Peanut was a long-time Offshore Captain, commercial fisherman and absolutely loved it. He was considered the official cook on most trips, and loved making sure everyone was well fed. He was always smiling and laughing and did his best to make everyone else laugh as well. In recent years Peanut was starting to build a life with Sharon Smith, a long-time resident of Robertsdale, Alabama. In those few short years they created life long memories that she will hold near and dear for years to come. Loved by all, his sense of humor, demeanor, and calm presence will truly be missed.
Preceded in death by his Parents, Racheal and August Hill, his wife of over 50 years Linda Johnson Hill, Daughter Johnnie Nell Griffith, Brother's Johnny and Buddy Hill. Peanut is survived by his children Frankie Hill Sr. (Heather), Lisha Hill Seaman, (Grady), Grandchildren Jerome Griffith, Mykayla Hill, Carlin Hill, Frank Hill Jr., Austin Hill, Andy seaman, Alexandra Seaman, John Aaron Seaman, Great grandchild Grady Seaman, brother Ronnie Hill (Cheryl), Bill Hill (Theresa), George (Yetta), Sister-in-law Sue Hill, Carolyn Hill, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearer's will be Dennis Morrison, Dave Morris, Teddy Jackson, Aaron Sprinkle, Justin Strong, Bill Hill and Austin Jackson. Honorary Ball Pallbearers Frankie Hill, Jr and Austin Hill. Graveside services will be 11:00am on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at Odd Fellow Cemetery, Bayou La Batre, AL.
