Mrs. Cassity and her husband were very active in the early years of America's Junior Miss Pageant. They were also members of a mystic society. In Atlanta, Mrs. Cassity was a member of Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church of Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd C. Cassity; her parents, Esther Travis and Ernst Holzborn, III; her brother, Ernst Holzborn, IV; and her aunt, Eliza Ann Travis.
Survivors include her nephew, Travis Holzborn; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in Magnolia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Community Action Center, serving the Sandy Springs Community in Atlanta, 1130 Hightower Trail, Atlanta, GA 30350.
