Margaret Mahfouz Hurd

Mrs. Hurd was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and the Lebanese – American Club of Mobile, She was a loving mother, grandmother and great great grandmother.

Mrs. Hurd was preceded in death by her Husband, Albert William “Bubba” Hurd, Jr.; her parents, Butrus Pete Mahfouz and Mary Darawich Mahfouz; three sisters, Adeline Cassady, Gloria Mahfouz and Patricia Bentley and a brother, Faze Mahfouz.

Surviving are her loving and devoted children, daughters, Brenda Hurd Loewen (Christopher) and Mary Hurd Taylor (Ben); son, Albert William “Billy” Hurd., III. (Jean); grandchildren, Chad Burns, Gina Hurd, Whitney Duffy (Bradley), Will Hurd (Mallory), Thomas Carpenter, Michael Hurd, Jeffery Hall and Jarrod Hall; great-grandchildren, Justice Hurd, Mason Hurd, Damon Hall, Lincoln Hall, Natalie Davis, Cooper Duffy and Nora Kate Hurd; great, great-granddaughter, Riley Hurd; sister, Catherine Boyd; dedicated niece, Gwen Johnson Markow and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to Kindred Hospice nurses: Pegi, Valarie, Nina and Allison and her social worker, Leigh.

Active pallbearers for Mrs. Hurd will be, Chad Burns, Will Hurd, Michael Hurd, Jeff Hall, Jarrod Hall and Bradley Duffy.

Visitation for Mrs. Hurd will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama, Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, Alabama.
