She in preceded in death by her parents William Elvin Fuqua and Magdalena Chason Fuqua, as well as her siblings Annie Fuqua, Elvin Fuqua LaFlore, Joseph Fuqua, William Jackson Fuqua, and Cleveland Fuqua.
She is survived by her husband Howard Ross, their daughters Pat (Ken) Bates, two granddaughters Kimberly Bates, Pamela (Stephen) Smith and three great grandchildren; Audrey Smith, Avery Smith and Kendall Wilson as well as nieces, nephews and friends.
A big thank you to Springhill Home Health and Hospice Care, especially Annette, her caretaker since last fall.
Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home,1939 Dauphin Island Parkway on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice.
