Mrs. Margaret McLaughlin Stringfellow – age 87, of Mobile, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 at a local nursing facility. She was a member of Westside United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Stringfellow, Sr.; and two sisters, Mary C. Watson and Edna Posey. She is survived by three sons, Claude (Marie) Stringfellow, Jr., John Alan (Marie) Stringfellow, and Gordon Earl Stringfellow; one brother, Dr. Earl S. McLaughlin; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be held at 12 Noon in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westside United Methodist Church, 269 Mohawk Street, Mobile, AL 36606.
