Maria Zelma Parker

She was the youngest and last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Woodruff Parker and Julia Demouy Parker; and four brothers and four sisters.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Bishop Toolen High School, attended Gregg College of Commerce in Phoenix, AZ and was a retiree of the First National Bank of Mobile.

She is survived by a niece, Mary Cowley Lousteau, Lacey, WA; five nephews, Lewis Woodruff Parker, III and Douglas William Parker, both of Mobile, Reverend Kenneth Russell Parker, Carthage, NC, Bernard Street Parker, St. Petersburg, FL, and Paul Julian Parker, Hillsborough, NC; great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Monday, July 25, 2011 from St. Mary's Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Allen Memorial Home or the charity of your choice.
