Marian Macpherson Currie resident of Fairhope. Al passed away Friday, September 4, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Ritchie and Marian Acker Macpherson.

Marian began her career in banking in the Birmingham area and ended it as a Judicial Assistant to the Circuit Judge of Baldwin County. She was a past member of the Junior League of Birmingham and Mobile. She was a master gardener and former Queen of Mardi Gras in Mobile.

Marian is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Currie, Jr. She is also survived by her sisters, Anne Macpherson Prince (Sydney), Paula Macpherson Watkins, brother, Ian Macpherson (Ella) and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Graveside services will be held in Magnolia Cemetery, Mobile, AL on Friday, September 11, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
