Marian was born August 22, 1942, to Ike and Gladys Imms. She loved shopping, traveling and seeing the world. She was a member of the Methodist Church in her earlier years. She also was a fanatic about the past and remembering different things. She set a tremendous example of love and strength of character, and was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. She met the love of her life, Eugene, and were married 57 wonderful years before her passing.
Marian is survived by her loving husband of 57 years; Eugene Maxwell, children; Earl McGallagher (Lola), Ellen Capps, Annette Jackson (Carl Ray Wiggins), Timmy Maxwell, and Tammy Cooper (Jeff), ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two sisters; Barbara Parnell (Ken), and Judy Evans (Steve), and many other family and friends that will miss her deeply.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents; Ike and Gladys Imms, son; Paul Anthony McGallagher sisters; Carol Poe and Dorothy Morrow.
A visitation for Marian will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 5 to 8pm at Pine Crest Funeral Home in Mobile. A second visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 1pm to 2pm funeral hour. Burial will take place immediately after in Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Shriners' Hospital in Marian’s memory.
