May 8, 1930 - Dec. 13, 2014 Marshall Jaye Sexton – age 84, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Southeast Alabama and became President of the Semmes Area's Dogwood Estates in 1975. He was a member of the American Legion and the Korean War Veterans Association. Mr. Sexton was an active member of the Semmes Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Thursday, December 18, 2014, from 5- 8 p.m. Graveside services and internment will be held in Valhalla Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 19, at 11 a.m. Mr. Sexton asked that in lieu of flowers memorials to be made in donations to the Semmes Ward missionary fund or church temple construction fund, 9830 Howells Ferry Rd., Semmes, AL 36575.
