Martha Ann Inzina Pierre

Mrs. Pierre was a devoted and generous wife, mother and grandmother, and taught preschool and elementary school for over 30 years. She was a lifelong Catholic.

She was preceded in death by her father, Philip Inzina; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ida and William Pierre.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, William Pierre; her daughter, Tara Pierre (Anthony) Ellis; grandchildren, Martha Ann Ellis and James Spencer Ellis; her mother, Margaret Inzina; two sisters, Alice Dean and Phyllis (Jeff) Reid; three brothers, David Inzina, Michael (Sally) Inzina and Tommy (Suzanne) Inzina; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Pierre and Adele (Wayne) Peters; and nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Matthew Catholic Church on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
