Mary “Grandmother” Carpenter a longtime resident of Semmes, Alabama, died on Friday, March 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Carpenter. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Mike) West and Jewel Carpenter; two sons, Tommy Carpenter and Eddie (Diane) Carpenter; five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 2 PM. Visitation will start at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Semmes Cemetery
