Mary Margaret Gill , age 87, native and lifelong resident of Mobile, passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, July 10, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Rosine Jordan, husband, Lubie Gill, Jr. and daughter, Susan Elaine Kountz. Her family will remember her as a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. Mrs. Gill is survived by her children, Richard Gill, Steve Gill (Rebekah), Diane English and Deborah Dodd. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Susan Cockrell (Frank), Jennifer English (Ricardo), Tracy Smith( Darnie ), Jason Kerr (Melinda), Brandon English, Chris Dodd (Alease), Stephanie Smithee (Dennis), Patrick Gill (Sonya), Logan Gill, Christopher Cockrell (Destiny), and great-grandchildren, Trent, Jordan, Brittany, Payton, Mary Christopher, Ellie March, Joshua, Jacob, Jackson, Millie, Jack and Joseph. Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
