She is preceded in death by her niece Samantha Dickinson and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her parents; brother, David Hathcock; twin sister, Martha Reed; sister, Marie Dickinson; nieces and nephew; Kayla (Tillman) McGehee, James Dickinson, Haley Dickinson, and Aaliyah Reed; great nephews, Colton Russell and Tillman McGehee Jr.; many other relatives and friends.
Mary worked at A.P. Brewer Center and Searcey Hospital; she was also a special caregiver to many. Her courage and spirit through difficult times were an inspiration to all. Her humor, generosity, and smile along with her love for M&Ms will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016, 2:00 pm. at Hill Spring Baptist Church, 335 Eliza Jordan Rd North, Mobile, AL 36608
