Mary Frances Hodge

Mary Frances Hodge - a 100 year-old native of Samson, Alabama and longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026. She retired from the State of Alabama as a recruiter after more than 30 years of service. Mrs. Hodge enjoyed volunteering at Providence Hospital where she also sat on the patient representative board. She was a longtime member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hodge was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Murry Hodge, Sr. , and son, Richard "Ricky" Morgan Hodge. She is survived by her son, Hugh Murray Hodge, Jr. (Marilyn); grandchildren, Melissa Tirey (Allen), Murry Hodge (Julie), and Rusty Hodge (Heather); 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the graveside in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10 a.m. Condolences may be offered at www.pinecrestfuneralhome.com.
