Mary Jo Johnson, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 8, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Johnson and parents, A. S. and Mildred Cameron Mayer. Mary Jo retired as a social worker with the State of Alabama after many years of service. She was a proud graduate of University of Alabama. A special thank you to Aseracare for the wonderful care given Mary Jo. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
