Aunt Mary, you have been so endearing to our family. You took the place of my grandmother (your sister) when she died -- as the matriarchal backbone. Save me a seat up in heaven between you and Grandmother. I love you so much, and will miss you. Until heaven.....Grace, Peace, and Comfort be unto you.

For nearly 45 years, i was blessed to share an aunt, thru my marriage to Rex Mason Barnes. Aunt Mary Ethel was just the sunshine, when she came into a room. I gravitated to her personality and laughter at all of our family gatherings. She was one of my favorite "aunts"! I can hear her laughter right now. Throughout the years, Rex and I always asked first..is Aunt Mary and family coming?" To sum up our reunions and visits..fun, laughter and more fun!! Her love of her family was overwhelming and contagious. Even though, we all lived far apart and our reunions were not very often, the love was always present! I won't be able to travel to her church memorial but distance doesn't lessen the love and sadness I feel for Uncle Lewis, Katie, Gary, Matt, Cindy, Sandy, Linda and their families. Aunt Mary is smiling and laughing up a storm in heaven. With all God's glory and her loved ones greeting her! I know Rex Mason was one of the first! I feel so blessed to have known and had "an Aunt".. Mary Ethel Mason! "Somewhere a journey begins at the end of the worldly existence we know, Somewhere a path stretches over the stars, and rivers of memories flow, Somewhere a silence is heard far away and the brightness if day fills the night, Where the trials of Lufe are resolved into peace when a soul finds its way to the light."...Aunt Mary has found her way "to the light"!!! My love, thoughts and prayers are with each of you!

My heartfelt sympathy for the great loss of Mary Mason, a beautiful and kind woman of God. May He comfort you with His everlasting love and compassion as He brings His child home.

With sincere condolences to the Mason family during your time of grief...God is for you a refuge and strength, A help that is there to be found during difficult times...May God provide you with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead.

Ms Mason could cook up a storm!!  Many Sundays after church we had a great meal at the Mason house.  My deepest sympathies to you all.  Heaven is a blessed place with our moms there.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Ms. Mason was one of the kindest persons I knew growing up in Roswell. Her grace and charm were remarkable. A true example of how we all should live.
