Mary Sue McFarland

Mary Sue Morrison McFarland, 80, of Tanner- Williams, AL, died peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, May 10, 2021. She was a Christian and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her devotion to her family was always foremost in her life, and she will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred McFarland and her son Paul. She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Carter (Bill); her children, Billy, Jeff, Jan and Mike; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Sue graciously gave her time to local charities, churches and hospitals. She was an excellent cook, had a passion for the outdoors, and enjoyed traveling.

At a private family graveside service on Tuesday, May 11, she was laid to rest next to her husband in Joyner Cemetery in Tanner-Williams. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
