Jane was born in Conway, SC on February 2, 1949 to Ottis and Betty Mae Suggs. She was a 1967 graduate of Loris High School and attended the University of South Carolina.
After retiring from Regions Bank in Mobile, AL, Jane went on to retire from the University of South Alabama. One of her greatest pleasures in life was working with people.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 52 years; a sister, Shirley Suggs of Loris, SC; son, Kevin Suggs (Ashley) of Mobile, AL; daughter, Kelly Assaad (Mike) of Naples, FL; and two grandchildren, Cooper Michael and Madeleine Jaymes Assaad.
A memorial service will be held at the Richards-DAR House located at 256 North Joachim Street, Mobile, AL on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 3:00 p.m.
