Mary Rosalie Sumrall

Mrs. Rosalie Skeen Sumrall, age 94. A native of Vicksburg, MS and a longtime resident of Chickasaw, AL died on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at a local hospital. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Clyde A. Skeen, Sr.; son in law, General Roy Vance and grandson, Roy Anthony Vance. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James W. Sumrall; children, JoAnn Vance, Clyde A. (Sarah) Skeen, Jr. and Cherie E. Skeen, Jane Sumrall Helmich, James Woodrow Sumrall, II., David Henry (Becky) Sumrall, Leeland Leslie Sumrall and Mary Katherine Sumrall . Fifteen grandchildren, Eighteen great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM from St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday 11:00 AM until service time at the church. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
