Mary Lucille Young

Mary Lucille Young – a 79 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away at her home on Sunday, April 18, 2010. She was the co-founder of Quick Delivery Service. Ms. Young volunteered with the Mobile Police Department and the Red Cross and was a member of Solid Rock Church of God. She was preceded in death by her former husband, R.G. Young. Ms. Young is survived by two sons, Robert “Billy” Young (Darlene) and Richard “Dicky” Young, both of Semmes; sister, Betty Bobinger of Mobile; five grandchildren, Jason, Rusty, Whitney, Kara, and Katy; seven great-grandchildren; caretaker, DeLane Speed of Mobile; hospice aide, Nadean Taldon; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 20, from 5-8 p.m. Entombment will be in the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum at Pine Crest Cemetery.
