Mattie Eloise McMullan Lambert died peacefully in her home on October 18, 2014 in Mobile, Alabama at the age of 93. Eloise was born on November 17, 1920 in Decatur, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents Coy and Eva McMullan, brothers Charles and Oren McMullan, her sister Mary Tracy, her daughter Micki Swain, and her great-grandson John Gregory Cockrell.
Eloise is survived by her husband, Captain John M. Lambert; her daughter, Toni Gregory (John); her granddaughters, Christie Cockrell (Ranny), Kelly Acuff (Lennie), and Holly Dayton (Eric); fourteen great-grandchildren, and two-great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, October 20, 2014 from 1:00 - 2:00pm with the funeral service immediately following at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
