Maurice Reid Bell Jr.

Maurice Reid Bell, Jr., a native of Tuscaloosa, AL and a longtime resident of Theodore, AL, died on Sunday. He was a U.S.Army Veteran, and worked as a counselor for the State of Alabama Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation. He was the former owner of Canine Country Club, and a former member of the Mobile Kennel Club. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Reid Bell, Sr. and Ora O’Neal Richardson Bell. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Bell Layzod; granddaughter, Katherine Olive Layzod both of Theodore, AL and numerous cousins. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 4 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alabama Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, 6030 Monticello Dr., Montgomery, Al 36130.
