Max Zalopany – an 80 year-old native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away at his home on Sunday, June 21, 2026. He was a 1964 graduate of McGill Institute and attended Spring Hill College and the University of South Alabama where he was an alpha member of Sigma Chi. Mr. Zalopany was the owner and operator of Maxi Clean Housekeeping Services. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and working in his yard. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Mr. Zalopany was a passionate supporter of animal rescue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mercedes Zalopany; brother, Pete Zalopany; and sister, Mitzi Wolfarth. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Ginny Zalopany, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
