Maxwell L. “Able” Stewart – a 91 year-old native of Montgomery, AL and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army Air Force and was the longtime owner and operator of Able Exterminators, Inc. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Percy M. and Alma M. Stewart; daughter, Laurel Stewart; and brothers, Percy Stewart and Laslie M. Stewart. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gloria P. Stewart; brother, Sherwood A. Stewart (Ann); nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 2 p.m. Entombment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
