Merle Marie Burge

Merle Hill Burge, a longtime resident of the Mobile and Theodore areas and was a native of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014. Married for over forty-seven years, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Burge of Picayune, MS. She is survived by her daughter, Lauretta Marie Bond-Boone of North San Juan, CA; two grandsons, Eric Manning Boone, his wife Kim and their three children, Richard Tate, Katherine Sage, and Charles Nash Boone of Mobile, and Jeremy and Courtney Qualls of Covington, LA. As a resident of Cathedral Place since 2003, she attended the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. She was a resident of Little Sisters of the Poor at her passing. She preferred to receive her flowers while she was here, able to enjoy them. She asked that any expressions of sympathy or memorial be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor here in Mobile. Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Little Sisters of the Poor. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL.
