Michael Rigney Harris Sr. was born December 21st, 1970 in Mobile AL to Harry & Doris Harris. It has often been said that Mike was the funniest person anyone could ever meet. He was a fun loving, life-giving, brilliant human being. Mike attended school at IMS and St. Paul’s. Following graduation, Mike worked for several years as Tour & Production Manager for the Christian singing group 4Him. Everyone considered Mike to be the 5th Him. Mike’s passion for music and God-given talent, as a Sound Engineer were put to use at Integrity Music, Dorsett Productions Unlimited, and at numerous Churches. He was currently the Sound Engineer at GracePointe church in Mobile AL and the Office Manager for Spanish Fort Painting & Construction LLC.
Mike is survived by his parents; Harry & Doris Harris, children; Mary Claire Harris and Michael Rigney Harris Jr., Jody Porter Harris, siblings; Ellen (Jason) Louis, Mark (Jodie) Harris, Kimberly Harris, three nieces, two nephews, two great-nieces, four great-nephews, one great-great-nephew, several cousins, countless friends and his very special friend; Kim Graves.
Visitation will be held Monday May 18th at GracePointe church in Mobile, AL from 12pm-2pm followed by a celebration of life service officiated by Pastor Ken Hall at the Church and interment at Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.
