MICHAEL GODBOLD JOHNSON JR, 32, of Mobile, died on March 17, 2017. Michael was born in Mobile, Alabama on January 20, 1985, the son of Michael (Sr.) and Leah. He was a graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and a graduate of the University of Alabama. He completed his post graduate studies at the University of South Alabama. Michael is survived by his parents Mike and Leah (Hopper), his brother Patrick and his sister Laura. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Sarah Rehm of Mobile, aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral services will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 21. Visitation will be at St. Ignatius gym at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at noon at the church. The burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. He was cherished by his family and friends, and to have known him was a true gift. Michael loved to cook, hunt, fish, read, and knew more amazing facts than just about anyone.
