Michael Joseph Phillips

Michael Joseph Phillips, age 67, the 8th child out of 10 born to Albert and Mary Etta Imms Phillips, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Sue Douglas Phillips, father Albert Phillips, mother, Mary Etta Imms Phillips and sister, Mary Sue Phillips Keys.

Mike was a painter by profession. He had many talents to include, he was a natural comedian, expert at Music Trivia, enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching old westerns and was the life of any party. He was a man of faith who loved his family, he cherished the memory of his late wife Jackie Sue and adored his daughters and grandchildren.

Mike is survived by step-daughter, Ashli Douglas (Scott) Adams, daughter, Jenny (Jacob) Phillips Pownall, daughter Shelia Phillips, and grandchildren Amanda McGuff, Michael Adams, Angela Adams, Brooke Partridge, Ethan Partridge, Richard Pownall, Mary Pownall and Joseph Nelson. He is also survived by his brother Thomas Phillips, sisters, Betty Jean (Fred)Burden, Libby Nell Bradley, Sara Cady, brother Jerry Phillips, brother Daniel Bruce Phillips, sisters, Sandra (Chase) Laurendine, Karen Tonsmeire (Ricky) Byars and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Wolfridge Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Clarence T. Finney, Eric Phillips, Jeremy Phillips, Byron Skidmore, Brandon Skidmore and Kirk Bray.
