Michael Sampson Teague, Jr., 72, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 in Mobile, AL. Mr. Teague was born to Michael S. Teague, Sr. and Dorothy Nell Polk in Vicksburg, MS on March 1, 1946. He was a fanatic for the weather, having been deemed Corpus Christi’s “Unofficial Weatherman” during his over 27 years as their maintenance supervisor. He loved his children and grandchildren, was an amazing dancer, and had a feverish interest in collecting coins. He is loved by many and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Van C. Polk and Dorothy Nell Polk; and a sister, Betty Ann Teague Terrier.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Lea Howarter Teague; his son, John M. (Shellie) Teague; daughters, Josie Teague and Melissa (Keith) Randall; grandchildren: Carson Teague, Know Teague, “one on the way” Teague, Angel Randall, Aroura Randall, Lucian Randall, and Logan Randall.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in the chapel at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
