Mrs. Corley Owned and operated Corley’s Country Store with her husband for 10 years. She was a homemaker that enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and was an avid reader. Thru the years she was a Bookkeeper, Sunday School Teacher, Senior Homebound Minister and a substitute teacher at Baker High School. Those who knew her will remember her as someone who was always loving, had a positive spirit and never met a stranger. She loved the Lord and lived her life as a witness to her Christian Faith. She was an active member of Luke 4:18 Fellowship.
Mrs. Corley was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James William Corley; parents, William Oscar and Maggie Mae Peters Strickland and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Buddy) Smiley, Philip (Cheryl) Corley, Jason (Shannon) Corley and Todd (Reta) Corley;
grandchildren, Valerie (Billy) Jackson, Eric (Sumer) Smiley, Jonathan Smiley, Mark (Ariel) Smiley, Chris (Natalie) Corley, Chad Corley, Hannah (Tripp) Bacon, Garrett Corley, Justin Corley and Luke Corley; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Also, survived by many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home - Mobile, on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Luke 4:18 Fellowship, Funeral Services will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery West. Mobile, AL.
