Mildred Huggins Balzli

Mrs. Mildred Huggins Balzli, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Balzli. Mrs. Balzli was a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church and started the first kindergarten class at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. She retired from teaching after 35 years. She was also a dedicated volunteer at Springhill Memorial Hospital. She loved spending time with her family and will be sadly missed by all. Mrs. Balzli is survived by her sister, Effie G. Dukes, daughters, Linda B. Rollins (Martin) and Becky B. Cochran (Richard). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie R. Cochran, Jason M. Rollins (Erin), John M. Rollins (Sarah), six great-grandchildren, Chase, Braxton, Zachary, Addison, Sophie, Will and two nieces, Mary Sue Younce and Barbara Ann Fields. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Oakleigh Chapel at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL.
