Mildred Moore Bays

Mildred Moore Bays - an 81 year-old lifelong resident of Mobile passed away in Cullman, AL on Monday, August 5, 2013. Mrs. Bays retired from Morrison's Cafeteria in 1991, after 20 years of service. She was a lifetime member of College Park Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bays is survived by her husband of more than 64 years, Russell A. Bays; daughters, Sharron Bays Watkins (Thomas E.) and Susan Bays Pearce (Gary L.); four grandchildren, Lanier Pearce, Gabriel Pearce (Ashley), Jennifer Watkins Hinson (Ricky), and Melissa Pearce Parker (Chris); two sisters, Katherine Moore Carpenter and Betty Sue Moore Rogillio; brother, Herbert Moore; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 12 noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 7, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
