
Mildred Caroline Logan Sims, a native and life long resident of Mobile, Alabama, entered Heaven's Gates on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was born on October 14, 1924. She was the daughter of Hiram J. Logan and Minnie Frances Broadus. She was united in marriage to Tommy Sims on August 12, 1942. She was predeceased by her loving husband on February 22, 1998. They were married for 55 years. She has been faithful member of Moffett Road Assembly of God for over 50 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Annie R. Sims and her son, Donald W. Sims; three granddaughters: Angel #1- Ashley Sims (Ray) Tanner; Angel #2- Stacey Sims ( Brad) Holbrook; Angel #3- Amy Caroline Sims; four great-grandchildren: Aaron Tanner, Allie Tanner, Cole Holbrook, Logan Holbrook; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, from 5-8 P.M., at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held the following day, Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at 10A.M., from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
MoMo, we thank you for your love, self-sacrifice, and courage. You owned our hearts. We will forever be honored to be your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
