A native of Buffalo, New York and resident of Mobile, AL for the past 24 years passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the family residence. She was an active member of Azalea Hills Christian Church and served as Choir Director and also was a member of the choir for many years. Mrs. Kemp was preceded in death by her parents Gustof and Josephine Carlson and her sister, Marjorie Lanard. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Eugene H. Kemp, her son, Stephen (Jean) Kemp of Indianapolis, Indiana her grandchildren; Elizabeth Jean Kemp and Jasmine Michele Kemp, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 10am to 11am with chapel services at 11am and Burial in Pine Crest Cemetery.
