Natalie Jackson Hartley, 61, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born to Mitchell Jackson Jr. and Ouida McLain Jackson on October 20, 1960 in Mobile. Natalie was the head majorette at Baker High School, Class of 1979. She worked for Doctor’s Hospital in the radiology department for over ten years, but the highlight of her life was her experience working at William F. Green as the Event Coordinator. Natalie was a patriot, and adored our Country’s veterans – and they felt the same about her. Other than her work at the home, Natalie was an avid traveler. Her happy place was Dauphin Island, she loved the beach, and any time she needed a pick-me-up or some peace, that’s where she headed. She enjoyed playing cards and scavenger hunts with all her girls, and loved spending time with family. Natalie was the princess of the family. Her hair was always perfect, she loved pretty clothes and shoes, and her make-up was always on point. The family even has a crown for her! Natalie was an amazing soul, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Hartley; father, Mitchell Charles Jackson, Jr.; and a brother, Mitchell Mark Jackson.
Natalie is survived by her beloved, Walter E. Dean; mother, Ouida McLain Jackson; sisters, Connie Wilkinson (Kenneth) and Michelle Merten (Chris McCoy); one brother, Tony Jackson (Dawn); nieces, Shannon Weaver (Chris), Heather Dees (Lonnie), and Kendall Pettis (Chris); great-nieces, Abigail and Peyton Weaver; daughters, Shannon McCardle Ching and Beth McCardle Jenkins; a very special friend, Bo; as well as other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Natalie will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
