This message comes from the production team on the TV show Who Do You Think You Are? We had the pleasure of working with Nathan on our Laverne Cox episode this year in AL. Nathan was an asset to our team & we embraced his nurturing presence. This news is shocking & saddening to us, because we all became close during this run. To echo the other voices; Nathan was a kind, giving & genuine soul. He brought a calm-ness to our shoot. He had passions & dreams to pursue. Nathan’s presence extends all the way out to LA. His loss is extremely devastating and his memory does & will live on. May you be free to create without constraints or restrictions dear soul. Love everyone at team Who Do You Think You Are? xx

I met Nathan over 20 years ago when I worked at Cabo Beach Club. He had sketched a great picture of me and it was so sweet. I lost track of him over the years and had just found him again on Facebook several years ago. I enjoyed watching his progress and seeing him grow in his career. I will miss that smile and his funny antics. I just can't believe he is really gone. I wanted to thank the family for posting so many photos of him here. I have spent a long time looking at them all. May God be with you and comfort you during this very difficult time. I wanted to include the sketch he did for me. I will always miss you, Nathan.

Nathan was always the first person to befriend and welcome someone, no matter the situation.
That's just the kind of person he was; warm, friendly, extremely likable and kindhearted. A great soul.

We first met Nathan 14 years ago (how time flies) when moving to Mobile and were looking for people with similar interests - namely geeky things, like gaming and comics. Not only was he the first person to engage, he immediately invited us to hang out and meet his friends. It was an instant friendship. He attended our wedding. He invited me to soar the skies on a flight lesson, after just a few years of knowing him. He was our roommate for over a year. He was the extroverted Ying to our introversion Yang; our similarities and interests were the bond. His energy and joviality inspired and motivated us, to coax us from our shells and enjoy life. He introduced us to many more new friends, all cherished and loved - each for their own uniqueness. Over the years, though recently life has seen us spending more time apart, he became one of the best friends I've ever had. My wife and I will always consider him family.

That is just who Nathan was, no matter whom he befriended.

Although his presence, energy, and over-the-top personality will be greatly missed, the impression Nathan left in his wake, his everlasting spirit, will resonate among us forevermore.

I had the great pleasure to work with Nathan last year as we filmed "Quail Hollow". I was impressed by his easy going nature, simple kindness and talent straight away. We shared an hours long phone call just before Thanksgiving speaking about his art, his son (who he adored and was extremely proud of, rightfully so) and life in general. I will always treasure that call and the time we worked together. Nathan was a cool cat.

Nathan was a new friend of mine over the past four years. We met through tragic circumstances as he was one of a small group of brave souls who risked their lives trying to save the life of my precious son Kyle who was killed by a drugged driver (now in jail for murder). They have become family to me. Nathan had enormous talent and Knowing him brought me joy. It makes me smile when I think of him. Brother Nathan, i hope you and Kyle meet in Heaven. You are definitely kindred spirits. I wish someone from the family would contact me. Nathan - I am better for knowing you. Steve
