Ned E. Mattingly – age 67, born in Enterprise, AL, a native of Robertsdale, AL, and a resident of Spanish Fort passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Mr. Mattingly worked for over 45 years in the maritime shipping industry and was currently employed with Page & Jones Shipping as director of port operations. He was a member of Jubilee Baptist Church.
Mr. Mattingly is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sarah Williams Mattingly; daughter, Megan Mattingly; brothers, Ronnie Mattingly (Patricia) and Jeff Mattingly (Heather); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, June 6, 2014, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
