She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Nutritional Science, became a Registered Dietician, and certified Health Coach.
Nikki and Maury met at Legacy School of Discipleship, fell in love at JH Ranch, and married in 2011. With Maury in management at JH Ranch, the couple began their marriage and started their family between the camp in California and the office in Alabama. A devoted mother to their three children, Nikki also led bible studies, prayer teams, mentored teens and families, and was a cherished part of the fabric and workings of this ministry.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, which she courageously fought, giving birth to their third child, a beautiful baby girl, on January 1, 2019.
She is survived by her husband William Maurin Carlisle, their three children, Pilot Salem, Charlotte Eden and Hope Michelle Carlisle; her father and loving stepmother, Curtis F. and Dawn Lea Pilot; her mother, Nancy O’Rourke; her brother Curtis Hunter Pilot and his wife Spencer; her sister Courtney Leann Pilot and grandmother Grace Giles Pilot as well as an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that span the country.
