Noel Louise Curry

Noel was preceded in death by her father Sherman F. Blackwell, Sr., her mother Bessie Mae Guy Blackwell and sister Rosemary Easley. She is survived by her husband Kent Curry, brothers Sherman Blackwell, Jr. (Judy) and Shannon Guy Blackwell. A host of nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.

Noel started in the banking industry at American National Bank in 1981. Worked as secretary in the real estate department and then moved to become Executive Assistant to Bill Seifert of Regions Bank, retiring there in July of 2020.

It has been said that Noel never met a stranger. Her glowing personality lit up every room she entered. People wanted to be around her, she had a gift of making one feel like you were loved and her beaming face always left you with compliments that were genuine and heartfelt. Noel was gracious, kind, loving and generous. The world is now a lesser place without her.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Lott Cemetery, Georgetown, Alabama.
