Nora Lindstrom (ne French), 72, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, died January 20, 2020. Nora was born in Mobile, Alabama, on April 3rd 1947, and was the seventh of ten children born to the late Lorenzo George French and Anna Bernice Fox. She attended Murphy High School where she was an outstanding student. For some time, she enjoyed working at the Mobile Public Library. Nora attended the University of Montevallo and graduated with a degree in English from Bradley University. She then pursued graduate studies in English at Bradley, where she exercised her passion for teaching writing. In 1986, she moved from Crete, Illinois, to Russell, Kentucky, where she worked at the Flatwoods Public Library and volunteered as a creative writing coach and as "The Story Lady," narrating books for the children's story hour. When not satisfying her voracious appetite for reading, she provided a cozy home for her family with her passions for southern cuisine and antiques. Nora was predeceased by her brother Forrest and survived by her brothers James, John, Lorenzo, and Richard, and her sisters Betty, Ellen, Anna, and Norma. She was a dedicated wife and mother, who will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard Lindstrom, and her three sons, Karl, Adam, and Wesley. Visitation will be at Dauphin Way United Methodist Church Chapel, 1507 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama at 10 am on Saturday, February 8, with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 am.
