Norma Ann Herring

Norma Ann Wilson Herring, age 87 of Mobile, AL died Thursday, July 1, 2021 at “Generations of Irmo,” Irmo, SC. Mrs. Herring was a Pentecostal Holiness Pastor’s wife for 42 years and held other positions such as Admissions Clerk at Mobile Infirmary Hospital and Office Manager for Drs. Gwynn and Walsh, OBGYN’s in Mobile. She loved plants and flowers and was a licensed flower arranger and was an excellent cook.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Robert P. Herring, her parents; Fred and Hazel Wilson, a brother; Fred Wilson, a sister; Barbara Nevin, and a son; Michael S. Herring.

She is survived by two sons, Robert P. Herring (Martha) of Jackson, TN, David H. Herring of Irmo, SC, a brother; George E. Wilson (Nadine) of Clinton, NC, six grandchildren: Angela Gantt, Summer Stocker, Matthew Herring, Mark Herring, Blake Herring and Rachel Herring, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews along with extended family members and numerous wonderful friends.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 on the grounds of Pine Crest West, 1599 Snow Road S, Mobile, AL 36695.

The family will be receiving guests for visitation Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.
