

Mr. Norman Edwin “Nobby” Lowell, age 72 passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, September 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara D. Lowell daughter Vicki Lowell Wyatt and parents Odessa Jenkins and John Jenkins. He was a native of Mobile, AL and was a well known musician, carpenter, avid hunter and fisherman. He was a renowned barber and owner of Nobby’s Barber Shop . He traveled to other parts of the country teaching The ”Jay” Sebring Hairstyle and was the hairstylist for the Jr. Miss Pagent and Ed McMahan’s hairsylist for many years. He was a left handed pitcher for the Cleveland Indians Organization. His passion for baseball was strong and he went on to coach after his son was born. He loved his puppies Dillie, Bleu and Toro. He was known and loved by his family, friends and customers. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be remembered infamously by all and never forgotten. Nobby is survived by his children B. Geneva Lowell, Toni Kilborn (Charlie), Tami Benefield (Tim) and Brock Lowell (Natalie). He is also survived by his siblings Karen Howell, John Jenkins, III (Tammy), Ronnie Lowell (Sherry) and his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
