Celebration of Life services for Patricia June Young Smith, 72, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 16, 2019, in the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama officiated by Bro. Bud Gates. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama.
The family will be accepting guests for visitation Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Patricia June Young Smith was born June 12, 1947 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Shelby and Verla Lucille Hightower Young. She was suddenly taken from us November 12, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama. Patti gave dedicated service, employed with the Mobile Police Department. She enjoyed playing the piano, loved to travel and always had to have her coffee. Patti always enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. She would watch the show Big Brother and loved listening to the band Alabama in her spare time. All will miss Patti and remember her kindness towards others.
Left to cherish Patti’s beautiful memories will be her three sons: Bryan Smith and wife Stacy, Tony Smith and wife Darla, Larry Smith and wife Robyn, one brother, Jimmy Young and wife Evelyn, five grandchildren: Jacy, Brylee Jo, Wyatt, Grant, Kirk James Smith, three nieces: Wendy Brittany, Tessa, along with extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Honoring Patti as pallbearers will be J D Pugh, Brent Jones, Tim Philips, Kirk James Smith, Grant Smith and Ben Wright.
The family would like to extend their deepest condolences to Janis Kelone for the love, care and friendship over the years extended to Patti and the family. We would like to express our gratitude to Erica Branch for assisting with hair and make up for Patti.
