Patsy McKay Nicholas, a longtime resident of Mobile, and resided in Orange Beach, Al., passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. Her favorite hobby was genealogy and she loved to travel. Her heart reached out to the unfortunate and she truly enjoyed family and friends. Patsy was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Sevelle Blumgren and granddaughter, Natalie Hall. She is survived by her husband, John Aubrey Nicholas, Jr., children; Angie (Randy) Lee, Todd (Vicki) Nicholas, Tammy Hall, Candi Skipper, Kip (Tracy) Nicholas, Shane (Danielle) Nicholas, Sean (Katy) Nicholas, 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held at 12 P.M. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1400 Joyce Road, Mobile, Al., 36618, with a visitation beginning 10 A.M. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patsy’s name to the MD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Tx., 77210.
