Paul was born on July 21, 1934 to Robert Ray Brisendine, Sr., and Pauline Kitchens Brisendine in Savannah, Georgia. He attended grammar school there. At the age of 12 the family moved to Bullock County near Savannah where he attended Brooklet Middle School and high school. He attended Georgia Teachers College (Latter changed to Georgia Southern University).
Paul married the love of his life, Barbara Robitzsch on September 28, 1958 in Statesboro, Georgia. Paul worked at Rockwell Manufacturing as a draftsman in the engineering Department. The company was later bought out by Brooks Instrument Division of Emerson Electric where he worked in the Field Service until his retirement in 1993 after 36 years of service.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his father, Robert Ray Brisendine, Sr., and his mother, Pauline Kitchens Brisendine.
Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara Robitzsch Brisendine; a daughter, Barbara Leigh Catagnus; his brother, Robert Ray Brisendine, Jr., and two grandsons, Justin Paul and Jacob Chase Catagnus. Also, survived by other relatives, family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home – Mobile, on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Memorial Service for Paul will be celebrated in the chapel at 11:00 am. With a dear friend and Sunday School at Spring Hill Baptist Church Rev. Max Woodruff officiating.
