

Paul Frederic Morton born April 18, 1972, in Mobile, Al. passed away at his home September 2, 2013, with his loving wife and his parents at his side. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Grady and Edith Brown Skinner and his paternal grandparents Sherard Murray and Hilda Sumrall Morton.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Graham Morton; daughter, Amanda Joy Morton; stepchildren, John Zachary Sawyer and Rachel Kelsey Sawyer; and brother, Christopher Grady Morton. His Parents; Frederic Sumrall Morton and Janice Fay Morton. He also leaves to cherish other relatives and friends and one very special and loyal friend, his German Short Haired Pointer, “LT”.
Paul was a 1990 graduate of Murphy High School. He later went on to earn a B.A.in 1997 from Auburn University. Paul was retired with 20 “very proud” years of service in the Alabama Army National Guard with one year of deployment in Afghanistan. He also worked in Law Enforcement for 15 years and 10 years with the Alabama State Board of Pardon and Parole.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
