Pauline Cross Evans

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Pauline Cross Evans, born in Greenville, Al on May 17, 1932. Pauline had strong Christian values with a giving heart and had greater love for her children, brothers and sisters. She worked many jobs throughout her life as a Poultry inspector, bus drive and caregiver.

She is preceded in death by her mother Emma Lue Sozier; Sisters, Charlotte McKenney, Aggie Crenshaw, Annie Crenshaw and Vernell (Henry) Barnett; Brothers, Charlie Crenshaw, charles Crenshaw, Robert (Cathaleen) Crenshaw, Arthur Crenshaw and Nathaniel (Catherine) Crenshaw. She leaves to cherish her memory three beloved children, Mattie (Charlie) Adams, Robert Cross and Christopher (Amanda) Cross; six grandchildren, Cywandra (Jurmane) King, Petrick (Yvonne) Adams,, Violette Cross, Terri Cross, Christopher (Kimberly ) Cross Jr. and Addison Cross; eight great grandchildren, Christopher Cross III, Caleb Cross, Carter Cross, Azalea Cross, Danielle Cross, Andrew Cross, and Aspen Cross; two great grandchildren, Marcelino and Elizabeth Cross.

A visitation for Pauline will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 DAUPHIN ISLAND PKWY, MOBILE, AL 36605, followed by a chapel service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
