She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Travis Houston Lee Sr; her parents, Edward and Florence DeLaney; and her sister, Gloria Ann DeLaney.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children; son, Travis Houston Lee Jr (Tammy) of Mobile, AL, and daughter, Karen DeLane Lee of Mobile, AL; three grandchildren, Hannah Lee, Lauren Lee, and Alexander Lee; great granddaughter, Dani Collins. She is also survived by Vickie Alvis and her family and David Honeycutt and his family.
She spent most of her life in Mobile, AL where she was an active member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church and then later Kingswood United Methodist Church. She retired after many years of services as an employee of the Mobile County School System. After retirement she served as a volunteer and vice president of the Auxiliary at Mobile Infirmary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards with friends and being a member of the Red Hat Society.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Kingswood United Methodist Church, 5200 Perin Road, Mobile, AL 36693, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. The graveside is at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
