Peggy Ann McInvale McCormick – an 82-year-old native of Laurel, MS, and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on October 2, 2026. She was a Vietnam-era veteran of the United States Air Force. Mrs. McCormick was an active member of Woodridge Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Flossie McInvale; sister, Bobby Daughtry; and beloved husband of 58 years, John McCormick. Mrs. McCormick is survived by her children, Jenifer McCormick and Christopher McCormick (Carla Surratt); granddaughter, Sydney McCormick; sister, Belinda Knodle; brothers, Kenny McInvale and Richard McInvale; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Woodridge Baptist Church on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
